14 years, and back to life

This week was our 14th anniversary. It is so weird to think we have been married for that long, and have 5 kids to boot. Crazy! I am not sure where the time goes. Thankfully we love each other even more now than when we got married. I am very lucky to be married to him. He helps so much with everything around the house and the kids, and he still makes me laugh. He is my best friend, and I so appreciate the man that he his, supporting our family and honoring his Priesthood, he is awesome and can fix anything and everything and it is wonderful. Having a 2 week old baby sort of diminishes the ceremonies but we still enjoyed each other's company even if it was with a kid in tow and was short. Bob brought me a beautiful bouquet of flowers and then after he got home from work we went to dinner. We had a gift card from Apple bees, so that was where we went. It was fun to celebrate! I love the Chinese chicken salad there but decided to be different this time. Big mistake. The first plate they brought me tasted like dish soap. Sick! The next plate was better than dish soap but only by a little. The kids were so excited they made us snicker doodles, and when we came home from dinner the house was cleaned and not just the usual kid cleaned but actually clean, counters wiped off and everything! It was very sweet.
Edyn said a couple funny things this week. She told me not to let the Dr. put the medicine in me so we don't have any more babies. She thinks we should have MORE. I do not know how she comes up with this stuff. Then when we were sitting at the stoplight and the traffic was heavy on Hill Field road (not a place to be at 3:30pm by the way)she says "Ugh, move people. Mom, honk the horn so they will move". Patient isn't she. So funny!
The kids are very excited to start school tomorrow, and we had to do a little shopping yesterday for some school supplies and backpacks. That was an adventure with 5 kids. Kamden does not like to go shopping we decided and didn't get all our errands done because he just couldn't calm down. Life has started to pick up this last week. Seriously? I was hoping for a least a month off of life. :) Ali had ballet on Tuesday and Friday and Kamden screamed the whole way there and the whole way home. Then I actually had to make dinner of course while nursing the baby. Here comes life huh? The girls also started on Thursday at a new dance / singing / acting place. Edyn was so excited she put her dance clothes on at noon, and it wasn't until 4pm. She loved it. Ali had fun too. Zach played in the Strikers Cup Soccer Tournament and had a game everyday. Thankfully Mary Champlin took him to all the games and then Bob brought him home. We did not do as well as we thought we would and didn't get to play in the finals, ended up taking 4th place. But Zach played amazing and won MVP for the entire tournament! They gave him a world cup soccer ball and all signed it. He was very excited. He is also very excited because Del Taco will give him a free churro after every game all season if he comes in in his jersey. He thinks that is fantastic. So we start back into it all, and the kids are glad but mom wishes there was a few more weeks of summer. (btw it has not been that hot this August and I am getting worried about the fall temperature. I am right now refusing to turn the heat on until Thanksgiving. I think we deserve that much longer of heat, considering it was winter this year until July, right?)
Still loving on the baby everyday. He has been a little fussy this week. Not sure what is going on with him. I think he is trying to buck the system, but he will have to get used to all the running around. Hope he does. Good news though is that last night he only woke up to eat at 2am and 6am. Yeah!! I hope that is what we get to look forward to. I am getting a little exhausted from the every 1 1/2 to 2 hour feedings. We will see.

Playing Baby

So I haven't posted for a while so be prepared for a lengthy post. You can just read the good parts if you want, and know that this is for Kamden to know the details of his arrival into this world.
The kids have been so good the last couple of weeks doing lots of extra jobs that mom usually does, and taking care of and loving up their little brother. They have been so cute and such good kids and I am so thankful for them.
Of course the most exciting news, and reason for no posting, is that we have a new baby at our house. Kamden Leroy. His middle name is after my dad, whose middle name is Leroy. I adore my father and think he is the greatest and hope that Kamden will aspire to be like him, growing into a great man like my father. We spend most of the day holding, feeding, changing, and sleeping and I haven't much energy for anything else. He is going to be pretty spoiled and we don"t care. He sleeps with us most of the time because he doesn't stay asleep but for a few moments when he is by himself. He has to eat every 2 hours to help get rid of the jaundice, and gain weight. He almost lost a pound after birth and is being slow about putting the weight back on. But here is how it all went. . .
July 27th -30th we had fun with Bob's sister and Brother in Law. We rarely get to see them and it was a real treat to have them come spend a couple of days with us. We enjoyed their company as well as a dinner at the spaghetti factory with Bob's other sister and cousin and their spouses as well. We spent Thursday at Pine view swimming and boating with Laura and her family, Sara and her family and Kristie and her family. It was really great fun. Ali and Amanda had great cousin times getting to know each other. Monday that week I had a Dr. appt. and Gretchen asked if we wanted to come have the baby on Thursday. She was going out of town until my due date and was afraid that I would have the baby without her. I was afraid of this too, since that would have been awful after having traveled to Salt Lake for appt.'s the last 9 months so she could be the one to deliver. So we told her that Thursday would not work since we had family in town, but we could do it on Friday.
So Friday morning 7am we left for the hospital and Scott and Laura left for Las Vegas to continue their vacation. It may seem a little taxing to have family / company just before you are about to give birth but it was actually really nice to have to think about something else for a few days besides how miserable I was. And yes now that it is all over, and I can't be accused of complaining anymore, just stating the facts, I was downright miserable those last couple of weeks. I was definitely bigger than any other of my pregnancies, heavier (gaining twice as much weight as previous pregnancies, who knows why? maybe you shouldn't have babies after 30, or maybe 5 was just a lucky number for me? whatever the reason doesn't matter anymore)and more uncomfortable and sick, see possible reasons above. Needless to say having the baby a week early, also a first for me was a most welcomed idea. Though we thought we would be having a August Baby, July 30th we welcomed our new addition to the family.
By the time we got checked in and started on the pit and all that, it was about 8:30 in the morning. We were informed that my doctor was seeing patients and wouldn't make it up to Davis from Salt Lake until about 12:30. Dr. Hurst was supposed to come break my water around 10:00. So after Edyn's "no pain killer" birth, I insisted on having the Epidural around 9:30. The nice thing about baby number 5 is that they pretty much let you do whatever you want. She didn't even check me before the NA came in to give me the epidural. The Labor and delivery nurses we had this time were all awesome! So were the nursery nurses for that matter. Though the post partum nurses I could have done without, ugh so annoying and weird. Anyway it took a little bit to get the dosage right (I was trying to pass out, and throw up and what not, really itchy uncomfortable legs) but after that it was wonderful. I never felt any pain per say, but could still wiggle my toes and felt enough pressure to know when it was time to push. So after the worst pregnancy so far I had the best delivery so far.
Back to the beginning. . . after the epidural was in place, we just waited, and waited, and waited. Now, once you are ready for the little darlings to get here, you just want them here, and when you are used to very short labors (never over 4 hours for me from start to finish) 9 hours seemed like a very long time. I now understand why the pregnancy books tell you to bring something to do. This time around Bob and I had time to play "Set", eat ice chips (I was starving by dinner), watch almost an entire season of Psych, and take several naps. Here is one thing we weren't expecting, a VERY cold room. It is the middle of summer and in the high 90's with a bright, bright sun for heaven sakes and I was bundled up in warm blankets like a cocoon. Absolutely freezing!! Anyway Dr. Hurst never made it to break my water, and Gretchen didn't get there until 1:30 to do it. Hence the long labor. After she broke my water it was still slow going for awhile but then about 5:25 I decided I was getting ready, and we called my mom and Kristie. (Ali wanted to be there for the birth and Kristie was coming to take pictures.) Gretchen checked me at that point and I was 7-8. That was`when I really decided to go because in the next five minutes I needed to push. But I held off until they got there, pushed through about 3-4 contractions and our beautiful baby boy was welcomed with love and tears into this world at 5:38pm. Ali got to see it, though from the point of view of ny head (so as to not be too much for her), I got to see it for the first time ever, (since no pain, and thanks to the mirror) and Kristie captured some wonderful pictures. It was so wonderful. He was so big. 9lb 9 oz and 21" long, and so beautiful. No wonder I was so big. I also had so much water that it spilled all over the floor when she broke it, and the placenta was also huge. All in all, I lost about 20lbs on the delivery table, and boy did I feel GREAT!!! We thought at first his hair was going to be bright red, but has sice calmed down into a color we don't know what to call, blond I guess but with a lot of red highlights. He also had smokey blue eyes like most newborns, but we haven"t seen a true eye color yet because of the jaundice. Boy have his eyes been yellow.
After things were cleaned up a bit (aka I was decent) All my kids and my parents came into the Labor and delivery room. It was so awesome and special and we really felt the sweet spirit there. How thankful I am for my families, and for the knowledge of the gospel. It is truly a wonderful miracle and one that I am so thankful to have been apart of 5 times. I am so blessed.
I have a dear friend who has been battling breast cancer during this whole pregnancy of mine and recently posted on her blog about "one moment in time" She was of course talking about how it is but a small moment of trial in her life, and the blessings of the Savior to help guide her through. I thought of my own "small moment of time" a very joyous one for me and the Savior is there still the same, whether to help us "get through" or to share in our "joy", and I am truly grateful for both. And this is a moment for me that I don't want to pass too quickly. So for the past two weeks I have done little else but take care of my baby for this is truly a "small moment in time", and I plan to savor every minute.
Thank you so much to my Mom who takes care of everything. she took my kids home while we were in the hospital and took care of them. It was so nice not to worry about them for a few days. We came home Sunday to peace and quiet and she brought them back up on Monday. Then came up the next week to stay for a couple of days and take care of us. She is amazing and just goes about doing everything that needed to be done, and brought me berries and canned syrup and jam.
Bob was home for the first week and it was wonderful to have him here. I just rested (and watched a lot of Remington Steele, do you remember that show? love it). We also went to the Hospital everyday that week. Kamden's Bilirubin levels were high. So he had to have his heel pricked and blood drawn everyday that week and a couple last week as well. He was really high on the Wednesday after coming home from the hospital and we spent the next week keeping him under lights to help get rid of it. It made our bedroom glow like some Disneyland ride. It was a tad frustrating and worrisome but we are now doing better and can send the lights back now, and maybe now his pincushion heels can start to heal, the poor little guy.
I am home right now while the rest of the family is at church. One of my favorite moments after having a baby. A peaceful Sunday afternoon with no-one around, except better cause you get to sit here and cuddle a newborn with no distractions. Priceless!
Thanks to everybody else who has visited us, and brought meals and presents to help us celebrate this joyous occasion in our lives. And for my talented sisters Camille and Kristie who took pictures of our new baby (see the slide show in the next post). We are truly blessed to have such wonderful families, neighbors and friends.

Summer Heat

Being so very pregnant this time of year elicits a lot of sympathy from those who have gone this route before. However so far this summer hasn't been too bad, heat wise. The last week or so though has been interesting as I have sat in air conditioned buildings and thought that I might melt. We have been having lots of summer fun the last couple of weeks. We have been swimming several times. I love the swimming, in the water the belly weight lifts up and I almost feel like a normal human being again. We had a great time with the Robison's at their pool, and even saw a giant snake in the compartment that houses the mechanics for the pool cover. Scary! I went and saw Eclipse with my sisters. Really loved the movie. Hated the first, second was OK, but the third is worth seeing, (One of the places I was sweating to death though. Which is weird because usually you need a jacket in the theatre.) Our friends the Morris' have season tickets to Hale Center Theatre and couldn't use their tickets last week for "The Wedding Singer" so she asked if Bob and I wanted to go. Thank you! It was very fun. I did not know that their productions were so BIG! It has been a long time since we have been to a play there and we really enjoyed ourselves. We had a really good time, but did not get home until midnight due to a 25th anniversary pre-show and a set that broke and had to be fixed. Again another sweat box for me though. Normally I am not an ice cream lover, but is seems that this summer it is one of the food staples for me, I just can't seem to get enough. That and the crushed ice, we affectionately call in the "good ice", you know the kind that is in little soft pellets, love it!! I have knocked off a couple of pre-baby projects. I finished a few more bags, and thought that I had finished a diaper bag but then decided that it was to small, and now have to start over. I am beginning to think you should not tackle projects when pregnant, I am just to slow (physically and mentally).
The kids have all been to the dentist, Dallin had one little cavity but other than that, no-one had any. Yeah! That is a first. Either it is because they are all toothless (except Edyn) or it is because they have been really good brushers, flossers and rinsers. So keep flossing and rinsing it really does help.
We enjoyed a reunion in Sigurd this weekend. It was a combined Payne and Bastian reunion and was really fun, although squelching hot. I love to visit down there, having spent many of my favorite childhood memories with my cousins on the farm. It is always good to see them, and it is fun that our kids can play together and enjoy one another's company as well. It is fun to reunite with loved ones and give your kids a sense of where they belong. We have a big family, and love them all so much. We did not make it to all the festivities but camped in the trailer at the park. The kids thought that was fun and practically jumped out of bed to play on the toys. A big thank you to Aunt LaRee and her family for planning it and doing such a terrific job!
We now have about two weeks left until Kamden joins our family. We are all very excited. He continues to wiggle and squirm all the time. I really enjoy it. It is comforting to know he is moving about in there, and since this is our last baby I am cherishing every moment even if I am ridiculously uncomfortable and ready to "pop".

Oregon Coast and 4th of July

We recently returned home from our Oregon Coast trip. It was a lot of fun, and a lot of driving, and not so warm. I think the highest temperature we hit while there was 67 degrees. We went with my parents and sister Kristie and her family and sister Camille. It is amazing how long it takes for a rest stop with 14 people, 7 of which are little kids. Each stop was probably a half an hour and we had to stop A LOT with all those little kids drinking up water and soda and one big mama pregnant lady (yeah that's me) who need to frequent the bathroom. We left Friday morning and went as far as Tahoe the first night. The eight hour trek from here to there took 12 hours. That should have been our first clue of how the trip would be. It was not a bad drive though and we stopped at the Salt Flats to play and pick up "treasures". The kids thought is was great. We of course took turns trading around in cars because the cousins always want to be together. I crocheted the edge of a burp rag for Kamden on the way there. We arrived around midnight in Tahoe, and set up our tent trailer, and got Mom and Dad's trailer all situated as well. Kris and Grin, and Millie shared their trailer with Kris and Grin sleeping in the back of their Armada. We loved Tahoe and are hoping to go back and stay a little longer next time. The weather was awesome and sunny and warm and the kids really enjoyed playing in the freezing cold lake while all the less temperate adults enjoyed watching them from the side and throwing a few rocks in. I put my feet in a little and had to get out before hypothermia set in. HEHE. Then on our way to The Redwood National Forest. A trek that should again have taken about 7 hours and actually took 12. We drove through beautiful countryside and on the most winding rode I have ever been on. Poor Millie got sick, and we stopped for quite a while at a rest stop, made dinner in the trailer and tried to feel better before heading on. We arrived at our next stop around midnight again. When Camille and I reserved the campsites, we had to reserve sites 15-25 miles further than we had planned. I recommend planning a little earlier than the week before, but they were all great. We also reserved them as close to the bathrooms as possible, for obvious middle of the night reasons, again due to pregnancy. However the redwoods bathroom, right by our camp, was out of order and you had to walk quite a ways to the next one. We had lots of weird little things like that on this trip. We awoke the next morning to an awesome surprise. The trees were HUGE and we were sleeping under the canopy of the them in what is best described as the rain forest. It was so neat!! After breakfast and showers (that you had to pay for, not noted on their list of amenities online) we headed off for Florence or actually Newport where we would stay for a couple of days. The drive through the Redwoods was fantastic! So beautiful! We also walked through a redwood tree. We stopped along the way to play in the freezing ocean and wind and pick up shells and see Sea life on rocks. The kids were soaked up to their waist and had to ride the rest of the way like that. HWY 101 is a slow road! Ok, the seed limit is not so bad but people in Oregon are very slow, and all of the scenery gazers makes for a 3 hour trip to take 6. Every time we drove it took twice as long as it should have. Newport was wonderful. We could walk to the Beach, and the bathrooms were close, and open (well except for the gas leak which made us have to walk quite a distance for our shower the next morning, but they fixed them by the next morning). And we arrived in enough time to have dinner that night. We really had fun camping and love our little trailer, with hot water and a furnace and fridge it is the only way to camp. The next day we went back down the coast to visit the sea lion caves. We did not go in. It would have cost our family $75 to ride down and elevator to see sea lions for a moment. Soooo not worth it. We watched them swimming in the ocean over the railing for a while and then left. We then toured Heceta Light house. It was about a 1 mile walk through the beautiful woods to get there. We all thought it was so awesome to go inside and see the working light house. The kids even really enjoyed it, even though all they wanted to do was get back to the ocean. We also got to go into the caretakers home, that has now been turned into a bed and breakfast. It was really fun and fascinating. My feet hurt at the end though and I wish I would have worn other shoes than flip flops, this body is carrying to much weight to go hiking in flip flops. The kids then found more shells and played in the ocean at the bottom of the lighthouse getting drenched and freezing cold again. (after this I kept a change of clothes in the car for them but never did need it) We ate lunch there. We then headed back up the coast and stopped at a couple more lighthouses and turn outs. Then went back to camp where Millie and the older kids went down to the beach again to play while we made dinner. The next day we headed up the coast again to Seaside, staying at Fort Stephens State Park. We stopped in Tillamook at the Cheese Factory which was fun, but other than that just enjoyed the scenery. We were in a bit of a hurry because we needed to get Camille to the airport in Portland. She needed to teach a class the next morning and so needed to go home. Unfortunately she did not make it. All in all the day turned out to be 15 hours in the car to which the kids did really great. We should have known but it took us three hours to get in to Portland, only about an 80 mile drive. In fact, we sat 15 miles from the airport for 1 hour. We went into the airport to see what we could do but there was nothing and no way for her to get home by 8am the next morning. So she came back with us to finish out the trip. It was too bad and I felt really sad for her. We had sandwiches in the airport parking garage because we were starving, having really only had a big hunk of ice cream at the cheese factory for lunch. Then we ventured another half hour down the road to visit Bob's sister Nancy in Tigard. It was fun to see them, it has been about 5-6 years since we saw her last. We got to meet her two littlest girls and introduce the cousins and see their cute house. It was fun visiting with them. It was about 10pm when we left there and then had to drive back 2 1/2 hours to the coast getting there very late again. The next morning we woke up to a ticket on our car. Turns out the JR. Ranger that had checked us in the night before put us in the wrong campsite. So we had to move. We really didn't want to take everything down so we only folded up what we had to in order to get the trailer hitched back on and then the kids rode in the trailer while we drove really slow to the other site. The new site was a lot prettier, but also had a lot of mosquito's. The campground is huge, with over 700 sites. It think they said it was the third largest in the country. It was fun though. That day we went to Cannon Beach and played. We wanted to look at the tide pools but were really there at high tide. The adults (except for Bob and Grin, who kept the kids from being washed out to sea) sat bundled up in hoodies on the beach warming our toes in the sand. It was cold even though the sun was shining. The kids however went swimming in the ice water ocean for the longest time, even the little ones completely enjoyed themselves until they were frozen and hungry. I had brought some kites the kids had gotten free at the fair, and in researching the trip they said they have kite festivals and everything. So, the kids had the best time flying their kites. They did this for the longest time. The kites fly so perfectly on the beach there. It was amazing, and not like flying a kite at home at all. They had so much fun. Then we went into the tourist town of Seaside, where we tried fried Twinkies, fried oreos, and fried milky way, and had corn dogs. It was yummy. We walked down the promenade and visited the Seaside Aquarium. The kids really enjoyed this and were able to feed the sea lions and play with star fish and sea anemones, and watch other fish and an octopus. Then we went back to camp for dinner. The next day we went back into seaside for some sweatshirts (they were closed the night before) visited ship wreck beach and Astoria. This was the only Really rainy day we had and it poured. We had the best fish and chips after a long search for crab, in Astoria from a little boat on land. It was funny and made us nervous to eat there but was in the end really great. We drove through the rain all along the Columbia River to Plymouth WA, and our last campsite. When we got there the seat cushions in the trailer were soaked from the rain. It had been pouring into the trailer as we drove because we could not get the seal down as well as it should go because I insisted on taking the feather bed to sleep on. Which I slept on really great the whole week, but made the trailer a little to high. We aired it out and dried everything when we got home. Luckily none of the bedding was wet. Again we arrived at camp very late. The next day we headed for home. We stopped in Pendelton to visit the woolen mills, and stopped in a grocery store parking lot for lunch. I picked some daisy's and foxglove, after watching tons of it growing wild and beautiful along the rodes for days. We also saw beautiful hydrangeas and calla Lily's all along the way, and plenty of berry bushes. I just wish the berries would have been ripe to we could pick them. We also did not get to pick any blueberries. Wrong time of year I guess. The trip home took about 14 hours, even though it was really supposed to be a 9 hour drive. Crazy! But we made it home about midnight and fell into bed. We had a great trip.
Saturday was Jaxon's Baptism, so we got up and ready for that and went to it. It was really neat. I love to watch them get Baptized but especially your family. It was so awesome! We went to their house for dinner and hung out for a while. We thought we would go to the fireworks in Kaysville but we were all SO tired at that point. Sunday we went to church. I have to do sharing time this month, and then watched "A Capitol Fourth" on TV. That was really fun to watch. Monday we spent the holiday by going to the Layton parade, not a bad parade but it only lasted for a half hour. So short. Then the kids slip and slided in the backyard and had a water fight while Bob and I relaxed in our fabulous patio chairs. Then the family came over for a BBQ and we went to Layton's fireworks. They were awesome and there were SO many people there. I have never seen it that busy. I think all of Davis County was there. It was a great 4th weekend. I did so great on our trip, but since being home the sciatic nerves have been killing. I think I prefer to be on vacation when this pregnant, at least your mind is occupied by other things, but hopefully people don't laugh to hard when they see me "waddling"by. HEHE. We hope everyone had a fun and safe holiday as well.

Recitals, Fathers Day, and Day Camp, oh my. . .

We started up with art lessons with my Dad again this week. I love it. Now I have to find time to do my homework though. This week we are drawing ears, huh. I am really not so good at the face drawing thing but we will give it a try.
Ali had a a mother daughter day camp that was actually an overnighter. We had a great time, and it was fun to get to know a few people in our "new" ward. The leaders did a wonderful job and the girls had a great time. Ali was so excited she started packing for it a week early, and was bouncing off the walls while we were there. She made some new friends too, and was excited for her first sleepover. The girls shot guns, made bracelets, and stepping stones, picture frames, and rockets. They had a ball sending their rockets into space and Ali's went the highest. She was very surprised and proud of her rocket. We went straight from camp to her Ballet rehearsal and got home after 6 that next evening. We lucked out and had a beautiful Thursday, after listening to the torrent rain and hail most of the night on Wednesday.
Ali spent Friday night and 2 performances on Saturday for Ballet. It was a beautiful performance and she did a great job. She is a beautiful dancer and has a real talent for grace and poise. It was fun to see her dance especially since it only happens about once a year.
The kids painted the wood fence this week, with minimal complaining. They were so proud of themselves for completing the job yesterday. I was proud of them too. They did a good job, I didn't do any of it. I wish I had more projects like that they could do. It ended up taking WAY too much paint though and costing me WAY more than I thought. Old fences eat a lot of paint. But it does look good now, we will just have to save more money to plant some fruit trees in the future. Next I am hoping to have the kids paint the front porch railing that all the paint is peeling off of. However, they may need a little more supervision with that one. Zach did ok, on the fence but Ali and Dallin clothes, hair and bodies fairly looked like a painted fence themselves.
We had a fun Father's Day. We made Bob breakfast in bed of crepes, (with Nutella and strawberries, yum). Then of course Church and down to my parents to celebrate with Dad. Everyone was there and we had a great time visiting and the kids playing ladder golf. Now we are getting ready for a nephew's baptism, the 4th of July and a family vacation. I have been trying to get some sewing projects done but can't seem to find the time to do much on them. The boys are in Sport Camps this week. Dallin in soccer, and Zach in Basketball. They had a great time yesterday. Dallin is especially jazzed about the whole thing and was told he was the best keeper they have had. That made him beem, since he looks up to Zach so much and wants to be a keeper like him. We have also been enjoying keeping tabs on the world cup, especially paying attention to the keepers. Yes, I have even enjoyed watching some, despite the annoying horn blowing in the background during the whole game.

First week of summer

So, the first 2 days of this week actually felt like summer. It was warm and the kids played in the water outside and everything. Then came the cold and rain. I have been sick with a cold all week and have been unable to raise my voice to the kids. I suppose that is a good thing.:) Still not great but much better than the beginning of the week.
We had a fun first week of summer with the kids. Spent Monday night at Boondocks for Jaxon's birthday. The kids had a blast. They played minature golf, and laser tag, bumber boats, and got 18 free tokens for good grades. We played more baseball, had friends over to play. Zach went to Lagoon with a friend and had a great time. We had a picnic at the park. We were supposed to go on a ward camp out, but got rained out and had dinner at the church instead. We were sort of disappointed. We also had new windows installed yesterday and they look great! No more broken windows for us. Yeah!! I love having the kids home!
Unfortunately after 2 weeks this time, bird number 3 has also perished. No idea what is going on here but I think our adventure with the parakeet has come to an end. So sad. They are really fun if only they didn't die so much. No tears this time. I guess we sort of expect it to happen now.
Oh, and one more thing. We have decided to name our sweet new baby boy . . . Kamden LeRoy Astle. We think it is so cute and are so happy to have a name for the little guy. Now we just can't wait for him to get here.
