Ok, Julie Hazelton this is for you!:) Seriously have gotten out of the habit of the blog. Ok, yes for around what 5-6 months now. Crazy. Well as I can in no way catch up on all those months. Here is a brief synopsis of the summer and fall.
Summer was spent at Cherry Hill, (though not as much as I would have liked, dang cold weather), camping for the 4th in Maple Grove, (Very fun! I have not camped there since the Bastian Reunion when I was what? 11 or so. Anyway the kids loved it, and we had tons of fun fishing with Grandpa and Grandma.) visiting Grandpa and Grandma Astle in Lead SD for what may be the last time, (they are selling their cabin there. as always we had a ball)a day at Lagoon, a Week in Park City, painting the upstairs bedrooms and moving a lot of stuff around, a garage sale that made me a whopping $35.00, still working on the barbie house, made several more scripture bags, a stake split up which caused our ward to be broke into thirds, a new ward, a new calling (beehive advisor), Zach started 5th Grade (unbelievable), Ali in 4th, Dallin in 1st, All have great Teachers!, only Edyn left at home (must be time for a new baby, lol and no this is not news of anything) a trip to Wyoming for the Rendevoux and time with the Tims (great times!), a stupid diet that actully worked, Edyn in Preschool (love her teacher who she affectionately calls Miss Mary's little lamb. She knows so many nursery rhymes now and true to her character shouts them all about the house). Zachary playing in two soccer leagues and a basketball league, (we must be crazy) Dallin playing for AYSO, Ali in Ballet (she can't do Nutcracker this year because we are going to Missouri for Thanksgiving during the performances)lost several piano students and picked up several more, made very cute wooden blocks for the holidays with my friend Melissa, sprained my ankle real good (spent 2 weeks in a boot and 2-4 more recovering, finally able to run again though haven't really exercised since the "accident". Note to self: do not always be in such a hurry, and watch it when going down the stairs.) A very fun, busy summer and start of Fall.
